The Spanish language is the third most-spoken language in the world, after Chinese and English. It is the language spoken by the most people in the Western Hemisphere and is the second most-spoken language in the U.S.A. The best way to learn to speak Spanish is to take an interactive audio course. Good ones are available that you can buy and download from the Internet immediately. Once on your hard disk in mp3 format, you can offload copies to your iPod or other portable listening device. Or you could burn the lessons into CD’s and play them back on any CD player anywhere.
