Florence’s central train station, Firenze Santa Maria Novella (Firenze SMN), is located towards the northwest of central Florence and is connected to Rome and Bologna. There are many tourist attractions near the station like the Uffizi Gallery, the Duomo, the Academy Gallery, etc, and therefore tourists like to lodge in the vicinity of the station.
