Many parents who has a child that is between one and two have tried to potty train their toddler. Most of then have done it at this age but however there are many children who are not ready for potty training at this age.
Potty training needs to be done when your toddler is ready. Your toddlers will show you signs of being ready when they are. They will go hide when they do a number two. They may try to see what you do in the bathroom. Many will tell their mom or dad what they have done in their diaper. Then there are some who will ask to be changed. This is like old diapers usually. These are all signs that your toddler is ready for potty training.
You may have heard this before and it is true, the parents are the ones who need to be potty trained. It happens to be true because we are the ones who need to take some time out of our busy days to encourage and praise our children. If you do not take the time then your child could be in diapers when it is time for them to go to kindergarten. Sometimes this is the same as new diapers. Not a bad thing if you like to change poopy diapers and spend you extra money on them.
When your toddler has shown you signs that they are ready for potty training then you must take the time to teach them. It will only take a couple of days to have your toddler potty trained for the day time hours. Look for signs that your toddler is using his diaper for a toilet on the first day and tell your toddler that you have a potty for him to do that in, unlike training ideas usually.
